Profitable on the balance sheet. Liquid in the bank.
A fractional CFO who turns Colombian bookkeeping into a budget, a cash flow forecast and a set of indicators, then explains them every month before a decision arrives late. Reported in English to owners, boards and investors abroad.

Three things worth knowing before you start.
60 to 90
Days to collect an invoice in Colombia.

In short
The essentials, in three lines.
- 01Fractional CFO support converts Colombian accounting into decisions: an annual budget, a rolling cash flow forecast, a KPI dashboard and a monthly management report.
- 02A Colombian company can be profitable on paper and still run short of cash because receivables are collected 60 to 90 days after invoicing while payroll, suppliers and taxes are paid immediately.
- 03Reporting is delivered in English for owners, boards and investors abroad.
Who answers
A licensed Colombian Public Accountant, not a filing agent.
Kathiuska Villegas Padilla is a Contadora Pública with a postgraduate specialization in Tax Management and IFRS certification. She has been a statutory auditor, a finance and accounting director and a group controller before directing the firm. She sets the technical position on every engagement and signs what leaves the office.

Questions
What people ask before they start.
No. Bookkeeping records what happened; this function decides what to do about it. We work on top of whatever accounting you already have, and where that accounting turns out to be unreliable we say so before building forecasts on it, because a forecast inherits every weakness of the ledger underneath it.
The trigger is rarely revenue. It is usually the first month you cannot answer whether you can afford something, or the first time an investor or a lender asks for numbers you do not have in a form they accept. Below that point, monthly accounting with a proper results call is normally enough.
Yes. The reporting pack is prepared in English and the director presents it to management, a board or an investor, which is what she did as finance and accounting director before running the firm. Where investors are abroad, the pack is built for a reader who does not know Colombian rules.
Yes, on both sides: preparing a Colombian company to be examined, and examining a Colombian target on behalf of a buyer. In Colombia the findings that move the price are usually payroll contributions, undocumented tax positions and unregistered foreign investment.
